PASTOR'S TRAINING
Huruma Pastors Training
Thank
you all for your prayers. It’s hard to believe we are
through with our Grow Or Die Training conference for Huruma
pastors fellowship today. The teaching went very well here
in Huruma Nairobi Kenya and the pastors responding well all
through the 3 days conference of teaching Grow Or Die lessons
of ISOB
.
We had planned for about 50 pastors for this conference, but
we have over 100 every day. The committee just couldn’t
turn anyone away. While we praise the Lord that so many people
want this training, it is causing problems with the food,books
and certificates. We’ve had to give each person less
food during the conference due to lack of enough funds since
we were only able to use proceeds from our Chairs business
to support this training conference, and we told them on Thursday
we only had 100 books to give out, and the pastors would get
them first. We’ll also have to more certificates for
this pastors, please send us more about 500 pieces.
We had a little over 100 pastors and leaders each day. While
they were quiet, they really appreciated this type of training.
Huruma is one of the poorest slums in Kenya, so most of them
cannot get this type of training and so really did appreciated
and prayed for ISOB and Its presidents Larry and Carol for
making it possible for them to recieve this kind of training
right close to their residents.
Please pray for us as we travel to Kisumu east 430km away
to launch Grow Or Die classes and also to Kitale to visit
an existing ISOB school to try and focus on what the Lord
would have for us to teach and learn. We know that Grow Or
Die is very valuable teaching that can change their ministries,
and that’s what we want to focus on. We want God to
be glorified in all that happens here.
Thanks for your prayers, we have known wonderful goodness
of the Lord in the last couple of months.. Its a great priviledge
to serve the Lord in this kind of work with ISOB. and to receive
so many testimonies and blessings from pastors and individuals
we minister to.The Lord is answering our united prayers in
far greater ways than we can imagine or deserve.
