THIS CHRISMASS - 2011

Manna Ministries is raising money to hold a fantastic Christmas party for Orphans and destitute Children from the sprawling Nairobi slums and Kisumu Rural Village on 22 and 23rd December 2011.

Manna Ministries supports over 300 children and 115 widows in the Kisumu Village and feeds at school over 1000 more children in the Sprawling Nairobi Slums areas who most are Orphaned by HIV/AIDS. These situations make it harder for them to learn and understand and often mean they don’t get the same opportunities or rights as others.
Christmas is one an amazing time of year. People really step away from their own lives to give. It is an amazing concept and really healthy for people to do.

You Can have a cause as a family. This can really bring you together and helps you appreciate what you have more and more. Giving is such a powerful thing and when you work together as a family , church, ministry, friends, and or even individually to do it, it is even more amazing. For a few years we have conducted Children Christmas parties feeding thousands of hungry children and it has resulted to many children feeling the love of God and actually most making Jesus the best friend and Lord of their lives. We have also either wrapped presents or delivered meals. It is easy fun and very fulfilling

We can talk much about the impact of blessing a hungry and needy child during Christmas but must stop here for now. The important thing is that you now have an idea of what you can do to these children during the forthcoming Christmas 2011. Trust me, once you take the lead in a project like this others will follow. People really love to give back and be a part of something bigger.

As Manna Ministries Kenya we are humbly appealing to you to consider a special Christmas donation to us this coming Christmas towards our Children Food and gift party that will take place on takes above. We would like to receive the donation by 18th of December as deadline so we can be able budget with what is available.
