Manna Ministries Kenya is also committed to nourishing the
minds and bodies of children in need across Nairobi slums
and Kisumu Rural Village. Since 2001, Manna Ministries has
partnered with individuals and churches to distribute books
and supplies to boys and girls living in poverty - because
if a child doesn't have food, they certainly don't have other
basic necessities. Our distribution and feeding programs for
children and widows have proven to be successful...
Food is the greatest and most basic of needs in the slums
of Nairobi and Kisumu rural where we work. Without a balanced
diet the children are unable to grow and mature both physically
and mentally. In addition to the basic childhood education
for the 150 children at Manna Academy in the Kisumu Rural,
the School also acts as a feeding center. As many as 150 children
flock to the Manna Academy each day in search of a hot meal.
The Manna Ministries must provide the financial resources
necessary to make this feeding program possible.
The
school at Manna Academy Reopens for second Term of school
year this May and the urgent challenge is how to feed the
more than 150 hungry children at school. and at the same time
raise teachers wages to allow the children learn and become
responsible people of our society. We must urgent pray and
act generously to provide the meals for these children at
school and the only thing missing is you!...
With
your help ! we can be able to move forward and provide food
for these children most of which are orphaned by HIV/Aids
at school from today and give them the opportunity to concentrate
with education and also provide essential tools for these
children to succeed.
